Spring!

After what seemed like an endless winter it finally feels like spring!  To celebrate the beautiful weather are some spring themed cakes and strawberry cupcakes!

Ni Hao Kai Lan

Last weekend I made a Ni Hao Kai Lan themed cake for a little girl's 2nd birthday.  It was a chocolate cake with a whipped chocolate ganache filling and vanilla buttercream on the outside.  I made Kai Lan, Rintoo, HoHo and Mr. Sun for the cake and as toppers on the cupcakes.

Monica's 2nd Birthday!

This past weekend my niece celebrated her 2nd Birthday!  My sister and I threw her a Blue's Clues Party, we made a variety of blues clues cupcakes and cake pops.  It was great to see the birthday girl and her sisters enjoy the treats!

The mother to be was keeping the gender of her baby a surprise so the colors of the shower were purple, blue and green.  For the party I made some baby themed mini cupcakes and polka doted K-Pops for the favors.  I hope they enjoyed!

Ballet, Music & Ice Skating

Last week I made treats for a twins 4th birthday party.  They take ballet, music lessons and love to go ice skating so I made treats to match their interests.  I hope they enjoyed!

Weddings

Over the past two months I have done some treats for two NYC Weddings.  Both brides ordered these to put in the hotel bags, but they could easily be used as favors too!  I also did mini pies this past summer for the hotel bags at a wedding.

Connor's Halloween 1st Birthday!

Connor turned 1 today!  Hopefully we will get some pictures of him enjoying  his first cupcake!

Sesame Street!

Shortly after I did the Elmo themed party, I was asked to create multiple characters from sesame street for a 2 year old boy's party.  This was also a cake/cupcake/cake pop tower.  

A Dog Inspired Party

Our friends dog celebrated his first birthday and they decided to use it as an excuse for a fun summer party.  I made a cake in honor of the occasion :)

Elmo's Debut

In August, Jackson celebrated his 1st birthday at the gymbroee on the UWS.  For the occasion I made an Elmo cake/cupcake/cake pop tower and an Elmo smash cake just for Jackson.  

Kate's 4th Birthday!

In June my niece Kate celebrated her 4th birthday.  She loves horses and that was the theme of the party.  I made vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with cowgirl themed candles.

Welcome!

This was my first job!  It was for a twins 2nd birthday.  I did 2 monkey cakes with their names in candles and lots of cupcake animals.   Stay tuned for the rest of my jobs from the summer!
